All components must be evaluated for where they are located on the machine, expectation of weather the component will come in to contact with any solids or liquids and what the solids or liquids will be – solids from products, liquids from products, wash down solutions, or combinations of all three.<\/p>\n

Enter the Food Grade version of Apex Dynamics helical planetary gearboxes. The standard production helical gearboxes already feature stainless construction and IP65 environmental sealing. The upgrade to FE versions feature food grade grease with a white two part epoxy that is safe for food contact. Units are also available in FG versions that are the standard construction with food grade grease lubrication.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Food grade compatible lubricant – NYE670F. Nontoxic and<\/strong>
\nsafe for food contact. Suitable for use on machinery and<\/strong>
\ninstrumentation where incidental contact with food is a<\/strong>
\npossibility. NSF H-1 approved.<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Food Grade option available on all helical in line and right<\/strong>
\nangle series.<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Food Grease available without epoxy coating<\/strong>
\n\u2022 IP 65 sealing. Double lipped, spring loaded Viton radial<\/strong>
\nshaft seals at input and output. Buna o-ring sealing between<\/strong>
\nall mating housings.<\/strong>
\n\u2022 IP 66 seal upgrade available<\/strong><\/p>\n
