A Precision Rotary Flange Output – Right Angle Hypoid Gear Technology
The New KH Series offers a ISO 9409 rotary output flange in a compact, accurate right angle configuration. The Hypoid Gearing, as mentioned in the KF Series release post, is a right angle gear design between a spiral bevel and worm gear.
Constructed of carbon steel cast and forged aluminum housings, the KH Series has a high strength to weigt ratio. The ISO 9409 rotating flange output is ideal for mounting pinion gears, robot arms, end effectors and rotary tables.
The hypoid gear set gives the KH Series the capability to have a hollow through bore(standard on all units). The hollow feature allows shafting, ball screws, air and electric lines to be passed through the center of the unit. Heavy duty taper roller bearings provide high moment and axial load capacity for your applicaiton. The KF Series is lubricated with a synthetic grease for long service life with no maintenance. The input and output is sealed to meet IP65 standards.
The KH Series is available in seven frame sizes KH064 / KH090 / KH110 / KH140 / KH200 / KH255 / KH285 . Available ratios are 3 / 4 / 5 / 7 / and 10:1. Each unit is machined to perfectly fit the motor of you specification.
